“Traces of Confucius” Exhibition in San Francisco,The 2570th birth anniversary of Chinese sage Confucius.
Traces of Confucius Exhibition is on view at Asian Art Mu- seun from September 28, 2019 until October 28, 2019.This exh- ibition takes the viewer to ancient China, where they will learn about the life of Chinese philosopher, educator and diplomat Confucius.
The Chinese language is a vast treasury of culture; Thus,Chinese characters can be the representative for Chinese culture. The characters made by 32 types of strokes. The poster design series utilizes those 32 strokes to illustrative conceptual ideas about combination of Chinese culture and Confucius.
The entire exhibition attracted 8,000 spectators in one week. In the comments of the exhibition hall, the spectators appreciated the visual design and purchased relevant Confucius cultural products.
A large number of San Francisco media reported on the exhibition and set o a climax of learning about Confucian culture.
There are 32 types of strokes altogether, some of which are compound strokes made from basic strokes. The thought-provoking poster design series utilizes those 32strokes to illustrate conceptual ideas about the combination of Chinese culture and Confucius.
The vision design of this exhibition takes the viewer to ancient China, where they will learn about the life of Chinese philosopher, educator and diplomat Confucius.
The exhibition presents unique insight into the life and work of Confucius .With a rare collection of images and cultural artifacts that illustrate the journey of the sage through its family life experiences, and contributions to the education system.
Also, Through the vision language the audiences will understand the great treasure of China, the Chinese language, opens up a deeper appreciation of the country.In continuous use for thousands of years, the language is a vast treasury of culture.
