Key Features

1

Pilot PumpPal differs from current mechanical dispensers as it offers a range of exclusive features. It is available in two heights, 1000mm for adults, and 800mm, which is perfect for use in schools or where people in wheelchairs require access. The foot pump offers hands-free use, or it can be operated with your hand or elbow. It incorporates a streamlined drip tray to prevent spills and a robust, ergonomic handle for easy relocation. It uses industry-standard 500ml bottles that can be used for liquid soaps, gels or sunscreen as well as hand sanitiser, and comes complete with Sanitiser Station signage.

2

The included signage attracts attention and encourages use. The foot pump and bright green colour of the bottle housing while practical also add a sense of fun, making Pilot PumpPal especially appealing to children. As Pilot PumpPal is also available in a shorter 800mm size, it is ideal for use in schools. The stainless steel post and base are durable and easily sanitised.

3

Automatic dispensers require a power source which has the potential to be an ignition source for highly flammable hand sanitising solutions. They typically dispense gels or liquids from the base of the container and rely on an O ring to maintain a seal, however constant use and the deteriorating effects of alcohol often result in O ring failures resulting in leakage and slip hazards. Pilot PumpPal’s foot pedal allows for hands-free dispensing, avoiding cross-contamination, and the pump bottle is quickly and cheaply replaced when necessary.

4

Extensive research into mechanical pumps revealed the need for a versatile mechanical dispenser that could be utilised in a range of environments and was practical as well as aesthetically pleasing. We designed Pilot PumpPal not only to address these criteria but to be a valuable and complementary addition to our extensive Pilot range of pedestrian safety products. The included signage attracts attention and encourages use, and the foot pump and bright green colour of the bottle housing are especially appealing to children.
