Embarking on a complete brand and digital transformation journey aiming to improve audience experience with their brand and support their global expansion business strategy. The practice has for many years been a leader in innovative, experiential and meaningful outcomes.

Now entering in its eighth decade, we looked to redefine the role they play in the world of architecture, announcing its shift towards urban transformation. Being Australia’s largest architectural company, and the 25th largest in the world, the need to reflect this digitally couldn’t be greater.

The world of architectural firms is poised for a sweeping transformation, a revolution spearheaded by Hassell’s innovated approach.

Hassell was looking for a forward-thinking and people-centric organisation to level-up their digital properties as they expand globally.

We resolved to put their customer first. Taking a human-centred design approach, we focused on the desirability, conducting quantitative and qualitative research.

Collated insights informed a working proof of concept we integrated based on feedback from both internal and external users, culminating in a design direction and journey developed by our UX experts.

The new Hassell digital platform has exceeded the expectation of all stakeholders, including Clients, Staff, and emerging architectural talent.

Part editorial platform, part sales and marketing tool, a part gallery for existing, future and experiential projects; our work positions Hassell in good stead to blossom into the future.

Utilising the new dynamic brand style guide requirements, we delivered a thoughtful and considered digital presence, that enhances the brand philosophy and reflects it not only visually, but through carefully considered interactions throughout the digital experience.

From the project’s inception, we integrated a sophisticated back-end infrastructure that enables the distribution of creative assets and content globally, without requiring marketing teams to compromise on continuity. Allowing the internal marketing and communications teams to deliver relevant content based on each specific markets.

Part editorial platform, part sales and marketing tool, part gallery of existing, future and experiential projects; our work positions Hassell in good stead to blossom into the future.

All new initiatives start with desirability, customer research with a focus on empathising with the customer. The business is now more comfortable with digital iteration and leveraging a continuous feedback loop to further enhance its global offerings.

Delivering these digital assets and internal structure provides Hassell a marketing platform for the future, supports growth and development in the digital space and enhances the brand experience in a digital ecosystem.
