- Ross Gardam
Breeze Collections explores the divergence of mass planner forms and the subtle light play produced by them. Designed to make a long lasting impression, the collection is beautifully presented in a variety of finishes and sizes, with the signature repeated leg detail continuing throughout the collection.
All pieces from the collection are produced from plate aluminium, which is then cut, bent and held together ingeniously via three fasteners allowing the table to easily flat-pack. The Breeze collection features a side table, coffee table, circular high table, and a dining or multipurpose table.
Breeze is a distinctive yet functional table, the subtle light gradients and shadow ply formed from the leg detail give the product more presence than its sum of parts. Breeze underwent 12 months of design development and prototyping to produce not only a functional piece but something that has longevity. The flat-packed nature of the product was critical to its success, and development was undertaken to ensure the joining mechanisms within the product were hidden once assembled.
All Ross Gardam™ pieces, including the Breeze Collection are produced in Melbourne in small batch manufacture and are designed to last a lifetime. Durable material selection and longevity lie at the heart of each piece. Alongside this, Ross Gardam also has a product stewardship program for all works produced.
The Breeze Collection sets a new benchmark in innovation and celebrates Melbourne design and manufacture. The collection is produced entirely in Victoria and is designed for both a local and international market. Breeze has many functional aspects, and the meeting and dining version offers a platform for bringing people together in creative environments.
The entire product is produced from a singular material and a singular process. Breeze flat packs and can be assembled via only three fasteners. The refinement process the collection has undergone means it is truly multifunctional, especially as a dining or meeting table solution. Inbuilt is the ability to run power and data, allowing both commercial and residential outcomes.
