The Bell-bottom Stool, inspired by the iconic 70’s flare is available in any range colours and stacks eight high. It’s form grants a lightweight, transportable design. Spanning commercial to residential – it is designed for outdoor and indoor use.
The practical handle doubles as a water drainage point and allows the design to be securely locked together. Belongings are safely stored inside the seat, perfect for bustling event spaces promoting unobstructed walkways. This stool is 100% recyclable – aluminium when disposed of properly, it is one of the most valuable materials in the consumer disposal stream.

Social Impact: The Bell Bottom stool is designed in response to the current Stage Four lockdown in Melbourne. The government has proposed an alfresco dining model once restaurants and cafes begin to reopen, the Bell Bottom stool is designed to cater for this new dining experience by being, lightweight, stackable, durable for the Australian outdoor climate, and they can be locked securely together. This design aims to enhance the next step moving forward after this pandemic to bring people back together to enjoy the freedom of food, weather and add a pop of colour back to the quiet streets of Melbourne.
The Bellbottom stool utilises simple metal manufacturing techniques combined with materials to withstand the harsh Australian climate. UV protective powder-coated aluminium means this design will be long-lasting.
