The new owners sought a website that would promote the business and encourage tourism to the area.
Our response was to focus on the natural elements of the Dandenong and Yarra Ranges as well as the unique features of the Yarra River.
The key features of the park are stunningly illustrated on the website, inspiring urban dwellers and long term tourists to stay in the Yarra Valley. The benefit being increased revenue into local businesses and eco-tourism activities. This site stylishly leads the way, achieving it’s key objectives in promoting the park and the many activities in the local area.
The re-brand incorporated a contemporary, vintage aesthetic including typography, icons and new logo. The unique style creates a visual and informative feast, that’s also easy to navigate through a carefully designed menu structure.
The digital platform delivers improved features giving visitors the ability to browse the park, layout, services, information and facilities before booking online.
SEO optimisation has been seamlessly embedded in the build to capture and redirect related business searches.
Through the new website, increased awareness of the park and its facilities resulted in markedly improved business flow with 26,000 sessions from 18,000 users in the past 9 months.
The park was in need of a significant makeover, which the new owners outlined as part of their submission to purchase.
The upgrade to the park is a 4 year plan, after which it is intended to be a 5 star camping facility.
The website strategy focused on the surrounding activities and amenities moreso than the park itself. The intention being to promote Warburton as a destination for unique experiences for families, groups or couples.
Bookings have exceeded expectations.
The website, which has been custom built in WordPress, can be swiftly updated with new information and photos as required.
Organic optimisation was of high importance in the development of the site. Target keywords include Warburton Accommodation, Warburton Caravan Park and Warburton Camping.
Accommodation sites such as Stayz or Trip Advisor will outrank smaller competition in all of these fields, however Warburton Holiday Park has achieved the first spot in the SERP following the major directories.
For the keywords ‘Warburton camping’, the site has achieved #1 on the SERP.
Keywords were the foundation for the site strategy, which has resulted in a continuous flow of traffic to the site and bookings for the park.
