Description

At this very moment, over 1.4 million Australians are living with heart disease, and each year more than 55,000 Australians suffer a heart attack.

We had to ensure everyone from health care practitioners, to survivors with heart disease, to people looking to live a healthier life could all obtain the necessary information they needed.

A research repository was built to showcase research projects that are currently underway. It also allows fellow researchers to collaborate while allowing information to remain accessible to everyone.

Key Features

1

A huge 40% increase in charitable donations.

People are more likely to donate if they feel a connection with the cause. The design places imagery and stories at the forefront and utilises a bespoke implementation.

2

Visitors had a 20% increase in pages viewed, showing a greatly improved user engagement.

Pages were developed including small, interesting, easily digested, snippets of content to encourage information consumption. Users are more inclined to click through to information that resonates with them. Users are encouraged to take tangible action by calculating their BMI, signing up to events or trying a healthy recipe.

3

Generate and translate research evidence to show the sheer volume and variation being completed at any given time.

Extensive UX research was completed across a diverse range of users to ensure the information architecture (IA) was laid out correctly.

4

Encouraging Australians to learn about cardiovascular disease and take action.
