Description

Designed and manufactured in Victoria the Lockwood Selector® Series Mortice Locks are made from quality materials to meet high durability and strength requirements. Released in June 2016, this comprehensive range of cylinder mortice locks are suitable for heavy duty use in industrial and commercial buildings, institutions, clubs, schools, hospitals, hotels and similar buildings. Designed to meet the specific requirements of the Australian market, and conforming with AS4145.2-2008, the Selector series is super easy to configure and provides greater functionality than any other mortice lock. All this has been achieved by some truly incredible engineering – performed right here in Melbourne.

Key Features

1

Commercial mortice locks on the Australian market have long provided flexibility with respect to providing for a range of door configurations from a single lock. The Selector series makes setting or changing a configuration easier than ever before. Intuitive and clearly identifiable settings can be achieved without removing the lock from the door with the need for far less additional components than ever before. The Selector Series is the first complete range of commercial mortice locks to incorporate anti-lockout and holdback capability in every multi-functional lock.

2

The Selector series provides a vastly improved locking function over existing products. In a locking application the key not only locks and unlocks the handle but can also continue to be turned to retract the latch bolt. This not only provides single action access into a locked room or building but also means in the event of vandalism or attempted break in access can still be achieved if the outside handle has been damaged or destroyed.

3

The Selector Series has been designed to provide non-invasive security that is compatible with a vast array of door handles. This means the Selector Series not only provides peace of mind that the people and assets protected by a Selector lock are safe and secure but also that safety and security do not come at the cost of user friendliness, convenience or a desired aesthetic outcome.
